Description

• Active Ingredients:
  • Levonorgestrel IP 0.15 mg: A synthetic progestogen that helps prevent ovulation.
  • Ethinylestradiol IP 0.03 mg: A synthetic estrogen that regulates the menstrual cycle.
• Indications:

  • Reduction of menstrual bleeding
• Mechanism of Action: The combination of levonorgestrel and ethinylestradiol works by inhibiting ovulation, altering the cervical mucus to prevent sperm penetration, and modifying the endometrial lining to prevent implantation of a fertilized egg.
