Description

• Active Ingredients:
  • Drotaverine HCL BP 80 mg: An antispasmodic agent.
  • Mefenamic Acid IP 250 mg: A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
• Indications:
  • Menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea)
  • Gastrointestinal spasms
  • Renal colic
  • Biliary colic
  • Muscle spasms
  • Pain associated with urinary tract infections
• Mechanism of Action:
  • Drotaverine: Relieves smooth muscle spasms by inhibiting phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4), leading to muscle relaxation.
  • Mefenamic Acid: Reduces pain and inflammation by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, which are involved in the synthesis of prostaglandins.
