Description
- Active Ingredients:
- Ivermectin 6 mg: An antiparasitic agent effective against various parasites, including those causing onchocerciasis (river blindness), lymphatic filariasis, and strongyloidiasis.
- Albendazole 400 mg: A broad-spectrum anthelmintic effective against a wide range of worms, including those causing neurocysticercosis, echinococcosis, and other helminthic infections.
- Indications:
- Treatment of various parasitic infections
- Onchocerciasis (river blindness)
- Lymphatic filariasis
- Strongyloidiasis
- Neurocysticercosis (caused by Taenia solium)

- Mechanism of Action:
- Ivermectin: Binds to glutamate-gated chloride channels in the parasite’s nerve and muscle cells, leading to paralysis and death of the parasite.
- Albendazole: Inhibits the polymerization of tubulin into microtubules, disrupting essential cellular functions in helminths and leading to their death.
- Benefits:
